Jan. 24, 2008	The General Assembly will be out after Jan 24, 2008 for 6 weeks for Budget Mark Up.   1.House Bill 153 with HA 1 would change veseting right for police officers in the Delaware County and Municipal Police/Firefighters Pension Plan by being vested in 5 years rather than the current 10 years.  The bill is in the Senate Finance Committee and we are working with Senator Cook to make a technical change in order to pass the bill with the General Assembly returns.
May 7, 2008	The Executive Board will host the General Assembly Leadership at Sambo's after that day's legislative session.
May 19-22, 2008	The Delaware Police Chiefs' Annual Staff Development Seminar will be conducted at the Brighton Suites Hotel in Rehoboth Beach, May 19-22, 2008.  The Banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2008.  The Seaford Safari will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2008 at Phillips Crab House in Ocean City.
Currently-	We are moving forward with the proposed Executive Order creating the "Delaware Police Accreditation Commission." John Brady is working on this initiative.
